Shipton Treks was the ideal guide service for our needs. They have an incredibly knowledgeable staff, speaking both English and German, with key people located in all of the right areas in Pakistan. They have the basics down: travel logistics, lodging, transfers, food, security, etc. But they were total professionals and adaptable when it came to servicing or production needs. We went to Pakistan to film a TV show in the mountains and Shipton accommodated all of our unusual requests: ever changing schedules, duplicate generators for power, transport of fragile equipment, etc. In summary the entire team at Shipton was great and the next time I make a trip to Pakistan I know who to call.

I just returned from a five week trek/climbing trip to the Biafo Glacier. 5 years ago, I met Iqbal in Facebook and we were complete strangers. I took the risk to trust him and now we are friends – much more than just business partners! We organized the trekking to K2 base camp and Gondogoro La pass, after that we organized Hunza valley trip, Nanga Parbat base camp and Deosai NP! All these trips we completed successfully and Shipton’s team was always professionally and friendly supporting us! As a team leader and owner of a trekking company the most important for me and my groups is the warm and friendly attitude from the hosting company! Shipton’s members are cosy and humble people and every time I visit Pakistan I insist the same team to support us We feel Pakistan like our second home!
