Overview
Masherbrum Base Camp Trek :There are several possibilities for shorter treks in this valley. From the village of Kande you can walk up the Nangmah valley to the foot of the impressive south face of K6. This valley is framed by countless granite towers and needles, a paradise for rock climbers. From the village of Hushe you can climb a mountain (ca 4500 m) in the Honblok valley from which you have an excellent view of the mountains of the Karakoram, among them K2. Hushe is also the start of a trek to the Ailing valley as well as to the valley of the Masherbrum glacier.
Through the Charakusa valley with its beautiful scenery you get to the base camps of K6 and K7. Apart from a few climbers on their way to base camps, hardly anybody ever uses these paths.
