Thalle La Masherbrum Base Camp Trek 2024: Thalle stands for Zera in the Balti language and La stands for pass, Thalley village is very famous for Talley, which is used in bread making because of its aroma.

The pass is one of the non-glaciated and easiest treks of 09 days situated between the Shigar and Khaplu valleys of Baltistan over at (4572 m) in the range of Karakorum at a maximum elevation of 4572 meters.The trek includes crossing Thalle La with Shigar Valley and the base camp of Masherbrum Peaks.

The Thalley La Trek is a spectacular journey through the rugged and pristine landscapes of Pakistan’s Northern Areas. 04 Drive along Shyok River to reach Khaplu sub-division of Baltistan and Drive to Hushe, the last village in Masherbrum Valley. Camping
05 An easy and scenic walk crossing Honboro and Aling rivers takes us to Parbisan. Camping
06 We arrive at the small grassy patch below the cliff face, which serves as the base camp for Masherbrum Peak. Camping
07 Rest day at Masherbrum base camp to enjoy and photograph the beauty of surrounding mountains. Camping
08 Return trek to Hushe, following the same trail. ( Exit Option – by jeep to Skardu in one day ) Camping
09 Driving along the right bank of River Shyok, we turn towards Thalle Valley from Doghoni and drive up to Tunsa. Camping
10 Trekking through the small shepherd’s settlements, we arrive in Brangsa for overnight. Camping
11 We cross the Thalle Pass at 4572m and descent into Shigar Valley Hotel
12 We start trekking with steep descent to Bukma Harel,and keep on walking to Shigar in the evening. Hotel
13 Morning farewell meeting with Alpine Club, afternoon sightseeing
14 Transfer to Islamabad airport for international flight
